Tama Huang launched NOI Strategies in 2003 to meet the unique needs of the commercial real estate industry using technology to improve business processes. She has helped build NOI Strategies into a global business serving many of the world’s largest commercial real estate firms.
Tama has directed numerous process improvement projects in Europe and North America, managed the development and implementation of enterprise-wide financial applications, and designed and deployed business intelligence solutions for major real estate clients. She has led cross-functional teams on behalf of numerous clients, helping them improve operational efficiency and maximize property, portfolio, and corporate performance. She has extensive knowledge of strategies to streamline operations and maintains strong relationships with the full range of industry software and solution providers.
Before forming NOI Strategies, Tama worked for Urban Retail Properties during its acquisition by Simon, Westfield, and Rouse (now General Growth Properties). She also led the technology integration of Chicago Title & Trust’s insurance claims division through its acquisition by Fidelity National Financial. Based in Frankfurt, Germany for a former employer, Tama opened European satellite offices and provided operational processes and infrastructure technology guidance.
Based in Chicago, Tama holds a Master’s Degree and a certificate in process management and improvement from the University of Chicago. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Colgate University and is fluent in English, German, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese.
